PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY
TEMPORARY ORDER TO
FREEZE LAND USE
The Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, having received
a resolution from the Weld County Planning Commission for a temporary order
requiring that the regulation of the erection, construction, reconstruction
and alteration of buildings and structures on and the change of the use of
land be frozen, pending the completion and adoption of a plan of zoning;
all or any part of such territory located in the unincorporated territory
of Weld County, Colorado, more particularly described as follows:
Sections 1 through 36 inclusive in Township 2 North, Range 65 West
of the 6th P. M.
Sections 1 through 36 inclusive in Township 1 North, Range 65 West
of the 6th P. M.

Sections 5,6,7,17,18,19;20,29,30,31 and 32 in Township 2 North, Range
64 West of the 6th P. M.
Sections 5,6,7,8,17,18,19,20,29,30,31 and 32 and the West half (WZ)
of Sections 4,9,16,21,28 and 33 in Township 1 North, Range 64 West
of the 6th P. M.
All in Weld County, Colorado, exclusive of any incorporated towns
in the above legal description.
THEREFORE, in the interest of the public health, safety and welfare,
it is ordered that for a period of six months from the date hereof and
effective throughout the above described unincorporated territory of
Weld County, Colorado:
(a) No building or structure used or to be used for any business,
industrial or commercial purpose located within the unincorporated
territory, as described above, shall be erected, constructed,
reconstructed or altered, and
(b) The use of any land located in the unincorporated territory
as described above, shall not be changed to any business, industrial
or commercial purpose.
This order shall be published on Friday, February 7, 1964 in the Greeley
Booster, and Keenesburg Sun.

RESOLUTION OF RECOMMENDATION TO THE HOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Moved by Price Hopkins that the following resolution be introduced for passage
by the Weld County Planning Commission:
Be it Resolved by the Weld County Planning Commission that the
following described area be recommended favorably to the Board
of County Commissioners for a six months land freeze, to -wit:
Sections 1 through 36 inclusive in Township 2 North, Range 65 W,
6th P. M.
Sections 1 through 36 inclusive in Township 1 North, Range 65 W,
6th P. M.
Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 17, 18, 19, 20, 29, 30, 31 and 32 cf Town-
ship 2 North, Range 64 W, of the 6th P. M.
Sections 5, 6, 7, 81,181,17 19, 20, 29, 30, 31 and 32 and the
West half of Sections 4, 9, 16, 21, 28 and 33 in Township 1 North
Range 64 W cf the 6th P. M.
All of the above in Weld County, Colorado, exclusive of any incor-
porated towns in the above legal description.
