The subject property was formerly a multi-use property with 892 sq. ft.
of retail liquor store use and 910 sq.ft. of residential SFD use. The
commercial portion of the subject had been converted back to residential
use in approximately 1994. The assessor's office was unaware of the
conversion and continued to assess the commercial portion of the subject
at the commercial rate of 29%. This petition is to abate the difference
between the commercial and the residential assessment rate and values for
1998 & 1997.
