RE: SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1106 FOR A
TRASH BUSINESS IN THE A(AGRICULTURAL)ZONE DISTRICT - REED
A public hearing was conducted on March 27, 1996, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner George E. Baxter, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Planning Department representative, Gloria Dunn
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated March 6, 1996, and duly published March 14, 1996,
in the North Weld Herald, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of David L. and
Donna J. Reed for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for a trash business
in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bruce Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
Gloria Dunn, Planning Department representative, explained staff, after checking the Assessor's
records, found the surrounding property owners were not properly notified for this hearing; therefore,
after consulting with Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attomey, staff recommends this matter be taken
back to the Planning Commission on April 2, 1996. She confirmed proper renotification, posting, and
publication have been completed for the Planning Commission hearing and suggested the same be
completed for the Board hearing on April 17, 1996, at 10:00 a.m. Donna Reed, applicant, agreed
to said dates, and no public testimony was offered. Commissioner Webster moved to approve staff
recommendation to hold said hearing to consider the request of David L. and Donna J. Reed for a
Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for a trash business in the A
(Agricultural) Zone District on April 17, 1996, at 10:00 a.m. Commissioner Baxter seconded the
motion. Mr. Barker clarified the motion must include referring said matter back to the Planning
Commission. Commissioners Webster and Baxter agreed, and the motion carried unanimously.
