RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY CHILD PROTECTION CITIZEN
REVIEW PANEL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, initial appointments need to be made for the Weld County Child Protection
Citizen Review Panel, which is a new board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Duane Farrington, Janet Flaugher, Kelley
Hekowczyk, Barbara Rodgers, and Susan Bjorland, be appointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Gilbert Burgerhoff, and Kathleen Laurin, be
appointed to said board as alternates, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Duane Farrington, Janet Flaugher,
Kelley Hekowczyk, Barbara Rodgers, Susan Bjorland, Gilbert Burgerhoff, and Kathleen Laurin
to said board, with their terms to expire March 4, 1999, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Duane Farrington, Janet Flaughter, Kelley Hekowczyk, Barbara
Rodgers, and Susan Bjorland, be, and hereby are, appointed to the Weld County Child
Protection Citizen Review Panel with their terms to expire March 4, 1999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Gilbert Burgerhoff, and Kathleen Laurin, be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Weld County Child Protection Citizen Review Panel as alternates.
