Notice is hereby given that the Colorado State Board of Health will hold a public hearing on August 8, 1960, at 3:30 o'clock P.I. in Room 1412, State Department of Public Health Building, 14210 East 11th Avenue, Denver, Colorado, prior to deciding whether to amend Section 701.2 of the Minimum Standards For Nursing Homes, Homes For The Abed and Other Similar Health Establishments adotd August 10, 1959 1y� MifiTuting fo Paragraph 23727717e 62, Building Exits Code, Fourteenth Edition, N.F.P.A. 101-1957 which pertains to the height limits that nursing, convalescent or old age homes may be occupied, the following: "No building used as a health establishment shall be occupied beyond the limits as specified herewith: Type of Construction Equipment Needed For Permitted Occupancy Less than 2 hour Approved Automatic Fire De- construction tection System 2 hour construction None. or more, or any building equipped with an approved automatic sprinkler system. Occupancy Restrictions No nonambulatory person above second floor. No patients above third floor. No limit. "In patient area an approved fire detection system shall be installed with 135 degree head with rate of rise and fixed temperature. "The effective date of this regulation is September 1, 1960." The authority of the Colorado State Board of Health to adopt rules, regulations and minimum standards is contained in G.R.S.'53 66-1-7(12)(a) and (12)(b), as amended by Chapter 1141 Colorado Session Laws, 1959. Any interested person shall have an opportunity to participate at said public hearing by submitting written data, views or argument or presenting the sameorally at said public hearing.
