WELD COUNTY COUNCIL MEETS FEBRUARY 16
All members of the 1999 Weld County Council will meet February 16 at 6:30 p.m.
at Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, CO.. Ms. Joyce Smock,
Grover, Colorado, will be meeting with the other Council members for the first time
since her January 11, 1999 appointment as the Councilwoman from District I.
President Dan Oster and Vice President Al Roberts are beginning their third year on the
Council while Councilman Dwaine Kurtz and Rob Masden were elected to the Council
in the 1998 November election.
The Council will set meeting locations and discuss speakers for its 1999
meetings. Fulfilling its Home Rule Charter mandate, the Weld County Council will
consider a letter it has received regarding a potential conflict of interest.
Weld County citizens are welcome to attend Weld County Council meetings to
discuss ideas or concerns regarding Weld County government. For more information
