COLORADO Subject: Legal Action Authorization
The Department of Planning Services has scheduled the following violations to be considered at the September
8, 1998, hearing beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Department of Planning Services is requesting that the Board
review the individual cases and determine whether or not to authorize legal action to remedy the violations.
VI-9800095,Arthur and Roxy Pitner
Sections 31.2, and 31.3.9 and 43 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance and Section 70 of the Weld County
Building Code Ordinance.
Mobile home located on the property without the appropriate permits
VI-9800104, Gabino and Roger Lara/John Underhill
Sections 31.2 and 31.3.9 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance
The operation of a commercial activity(selling railroad ties) in the A (Agricultural) zone district.
VI-9800105, Earl Hood
Sections 31.2 and 31.3.9 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance.
A noncommercial junkyard consisting of derelict vehicles, engine parts,car parts, miscellaneous debris is located
on the property.
The Department of Planning also recommends that the County Attorney be authorized to proceed with legal
action against any other persons occupying the properties, any persons claiming an interest in the properties, and
any persons acting in active concert with the identified parties.
Copies of the violation materials are available at the Department of Planning Services' office or the Weld County
Attorneys Office.
