The Department of Planning Services' staff has considered your proposal and made the determination that this addition does not constitute a substantial deviation from the use that was approved in the Special Review permit. Approval of the use is conditional upon the following: the height of the tower is not increased and the equipment to operate this site will be housed inside an existing cabinet or building at the base of the tower. Rd 54 Dear Chris Per our phone conversation last week this inquiry pertains to our clients desire for placement of 3 whip antennas upon the existing 360 foot tower located at the above location. The Assessor's Parcel No. R 0188090 The address is located within the SE 1/4 of Section 24, T5N, R67W. Our client, PageNet, is expanding its services to include Alpha and Numeric Paging. The equipment needed for this service will include 1 whip antenna for transmission at the 180 foot level of the tower and 2 placed at the 210 foot level for receive. The equipment to operate this site will be housed within 1 cabinet located within the building at the base of the tower. Presently a lease has been signed between Paging Network of Colorado, Inc. (PageNet) and GPA Enterprises, Inc. I would appreciate hearing from you as to what procedures, if any, I need to follow in order to add this equipment to the tower. A parcel of land located in the SE '/ at the SE 1/4 at Section 24, T5N, R67W' Dear Chris: Western Wireless PCS has recently received zoning approval to attach wireless communication antennas to the existing 340' radio tower at the address stated above. 'Os for us to attach dishes to the structure which will aid in providing telephone service to sites that have been delayed in receiving ground line telephone service. Is it possible for us to retroactively modify the approved drawings and go straight to building permit by declaring it a continuation of existing use. This is simply an antenna attachment to an existing structure, with the land use established. The time constraints of an extensive zoning process would severely jeopardize this link in our system launch, which is scheduled for the near future.
