NEW BUSINESS:
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular
session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the
State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial
Center, Greeley, Colorado, August 28, 1995, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman
and on roll call the following members were present,
constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner Dale K. Hall, Chairman
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Finance and Administration Director, Don Warden
Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to approve the minutes of the Housing
Authority Board meeting of July 24, 1995, as printed. Commissioner Harbert
seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.
CONSIDER APPLICATION FOR COLORADO DIVISION OF HOUSING
LOAN/GRANT ASSISTANCE 1995 AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN -

application is for a total of $170,000.00 00.forreplacementy
ts
housing for four households and emergency rehabilitation for six households.
He explained funds will be provided as a 100 percent loan to eligible persons,
who will hopefully use the funds for down payments and move elsewhere. Mr.
Sheehan stated the State is receptive and understands the need for flexibility
within Weld County's market. Commissioner Harbert moved to approve said
application and authorize the Chairman to sign. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Baxter. Mr. Sheehan answered questions from the Board, and
the motion carried unanimously.
Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to
and respectfully submitted by the Acting Clerk to the Board.
