The Cellular For The Community Program, now in its fourth
year, is an integral part of AT&T Wireless Services'
expanding public safety program in Colorado. The program
exemplifies how cellular
ni and cations rescue 1personnel ays a labout
role in alerting police, fi
emergency situations. This program allows selective non-
profit organizations in Colorado to receive the free use of
a cellular phone and unlimited local airtime for a two-year
period as a communications tool to increase the
effectiveness of their community programs. Examples of
participating organizations include neighborhood
e ighbor oodnciimemwatch
groups, victims assistance programs

violence programs.
This year's recipient in your community is Meals on Wheels
ees
of Greeley, Inc. As you are aware, this program provides
crisis intervention to victims of violent crimes twenty-four
hours a day, seven days a week. AT&T's service will be used
by on-call victim advocates to communicate atchers with or advocates, officers on the scene, disP
o
coordinate other services if needed.
