RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO EXTENSION ADVISORY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Extension Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Gerald Roth be appointed to said board, to
replace Sharon Clifton; and Kent Lynch replace Dan Oster, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Gerald Roth to said board, with his
term to expire November 1, 1999; and Kent Lynch with his term to expire November 1, 2001,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint LeAnn Reid to said board, with
her term to expire November 1, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Gerald Roth be, and hereby is, appointed to the Extension
Advisory Council, with his term to expire November 1, 1999; and Kent Lynch be appointed with
his term to expire November 1, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that LeAnn Reid be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Extension Advisory Council
with her term to expire November 1, 2001.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 1st day of February, A.D., 1999.
