RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR 1996 CHILD SUPPORT
ENFORCEMENT COOPERATIVE REIMBURSEMENT WITH WELD COUNTY
ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Amendment to the Agreement for
1996 Child Support Enforcement Cooperative Reimbursement between the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on
behalf of the Department of Social Services, and the Weld County Attorney, commencing
January 1, 1996, and ending December 31, 1996, with further terms and conditions being as
stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, ex -officio Board of Social Services, that the Amendment to the
Agreement for 1996 Child Support Enforcement Cooperative Reimbursement between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Social Services, and the Weld County Attorney
be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 20th day of January, A.D., 1997, nunc pro tunc January 1, 1996.

RE: Amendment to 1996 Child Support Enforcement Cooperative
Reimbursement Agreement Between the Weld County
Attorney and the Weld County Department of Social Services
Enclosed for Board approval is an amendment to the 1996 Child Support Enforcement
Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement between the Weld County Attorney and the Weld
County Department of Social Services.
The purpose of the amendment is to increase the original contract amount of $92,500 to a new
level of $122,500 for the period of January 1, 1996 through December 31, 1996. The increase
will cover costs for legal services provided by the Weld County Attorney to the Weld County
Department of Social Services.

THE APPLS AND INSERT THE PAGES YOU GAVE WITH THE AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING CONTRACT. YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME. WE WILL NOT, IN THIS
MANNER, NEED TO GO THROUGH THE AMENDMENT PROCESS. ONE QUESTION - DOES
THIS CHANGE THE BOTTOM LINE OF YOUR 1996 ANNUAL PROGRAM PLAN? IF SO,
