To Whom It May Concern,
We are interested in tree farming for a number of reasons, those being as follows:
• Our close proximity to Colorado State Highway 52 and the reduction of noise
that trees could provide in a few years. This could be a benefit to us as well
as our neighbors.
• The desire to offset the cost of owning property with a small acreage in an
attractive area prime for growth.
• As a long range goal to eventually be able to move to landscaping on a small
commercial level as well as retail level operated through access to "old"
Co.52.
We are interested in the mold making business for the following reasons:
• We currently own and operate a plastic injection molding company in an
industrial park in Boulder, CO and although we subcontract the construction
of molds to a number of mold manufacturing companies we need to retain the
ability to repair existing molds as well as respond to our customers most
urgent needs.
• Mold making is a highly skilled, advanced technological profession. It is
quiet and clean and unobtrusive to the surrounding community. Therefore,
because the main thrust of our business is the actual production molding
being done in Boulder, the home business serves us well by having a
convenient, comfortable setting to complete this service to our core business.
• In addition, operating the home business helps to offset the cost of living in an
attractive area with some land in a place like Southwestern Weld County,
something that might not be possible under any other circumstances.
I appreciate your consideration of these matters and welcome any further
questions. Thank you.
Cordially,
Steven M. Rowen
