RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Human Services Committee,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Joan Harrison be appointed to said
Committee, to replace Gladys Bolander as the League of Women Voters representative; that
Janelle Buhr be appointed to said Committee, to replace Kris Nickels as a Parent Policy Council
representative; and Mary Ellen Faules be appointed to represent the Area Agency on Aging,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Joan Harrison with her term to
expire December 31, 1999; and Janelle Buhr and Mary Ellen Faules, with their terms to expire
December 31, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Joan Harrison be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld'County
Human Services Committee, with her term to expire December 31, 1999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Janelle Buhr and Mary Ellen Faules be, and hereby
are, appointed to the Weld County Human Services Committee, with their terms to expire
December 31, 2000.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 19th day of January, A.D., 1998.
