A70610 7 ger— No. Mary Mn Feuerstein, Recorder C9 ;r GRANTING CHANGE OF ZONE MEAD AREA: 1-1 WHEREAS, the Weld County Planning Commission has presented a recommenda- tion to the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado for the granting of a requested change of zone in the Mead area, more particularly described as follows, to -wit: Zoning of Tract A from "A" Agricultural to "T" Transitional described more particularly as follows: 20 acres in the NE corner of the NWi of Section 23, Township 3 North, Range 68 West: Zoning of Tract B from "A" Agricultural to "R" Residential described more particularly as follows: Balance of the NW4 of Section 23, Township 3 North, Range 68 West: Zoning of Tract C from "A" Agricultural to "B" Business for Lhe specific purpose of a golf course, described more parti- cularly as follows: 20 acres along the South line of the NW+ of Section 23, Township 3 North, Range 68 West: Zoning of Tract D from "A" Agricultural to "B" Business for the specific purpose for the location of the Horse Tract and Stadium and its accessory buildings, described more particularly as follows: Balance of the SW4 of Section 23, Township 3 North, Range 68 West: Recommend the change of zoning in Tract E and F from "A" Agricultural to "C" Commercial at such time that construction of the track and stadium has reached sixty (60) percent completion, described more particularly as follows: 30 acres along the South line of the SW4 of Section 23, Township 3 North Range 68 West and 30 acres along the North line of the NWT of Section 26, Township 3 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P. M., in Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, a special hearing, having been duly advertised, was held on Wednesday, August 28, 1963, and WHEREAS, no protestants appeared, it was moved by Commissioner Shultz and seconded by Commissioner Reed to grant the changes in Zoning as recommended by the Weld County Planning Commission and carried by an unanimous vote. -1- 630003 784 1'747,61,07 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT-RESOLVED,by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Lolorado, that the Weld County Planning Commission recommendations for the changes of zoning within the Mead area as herein described, be and are hereby granted as submitted. Roll Call 3s as follows: Millard H. Ewing, Chairman Elmer L. Shultz Tom V. Reed County Attorney Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners OTHERS 10 persons representing the petitioners Mr. Ewing, Chairman of the Board called the meeting to order. He asked if there were any protestants, there being none, Mr. Ewing read the recommended change -s in zoning. -Reference was made to the .public notices which had teen properly printed, by law, in the -Greeley Booster and the Longmont Times Call on July 26 and August 1-6, 1963. A copy of which is attached. Mr. Shultz stated that there being no protestants that he make the motion that the Board of _County Commissioners accept the rezoning as specified by the Weld County Planning Committee. Mr. Reed seconded the motion. The Board voted unamiously to accept the recommendations made by the Weld _County Planning Committee 'and to grant the rezoning.
