WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
JANUARY 25, 1999

The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular
session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the
State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial
Center, Greeley, Colorado, January 25, 1999, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following
members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner Dale K. Hall, Chair
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Pro-Tern
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner M. J. Geile
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Finance and Administration Director, Don Warden
MINUTES: Commissioner Baxter moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority
Board meeting of December 28, 1998, as printed. Commissioner Kirkmeyer
seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.
BUSINESS:
NEW: CONSIDER COLORADO HOUSING GRANT LOAN AGREEMENT AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - CATHOLIC CHARITIES AND COMMUNITY
SERVICES FARM LABOR HOUSING CORPORATION: Bruce Barker, County
Attorney, stated the Board approved the original grant application on November
23, 1998. He explained Weld County has been awarded a $300,000 grant and
under this contract, it will be loaned to Catholic Charities Northern to be repaid
over the next 33 years at an interest rate of three percent annually.
Commissioner Vaad moved to approve said agreement and authorize the Chair
to sign. Seconded by Commissioner Baxter, the motion carried unanimously.

CONSIDER SUBORDINATION AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO
SIGN-EILEEN HURTADO:Tom Teixeira, Director of the Weld County Housing
Authority, stated in the past the Housing Authority Director signed subordination
agreements; however, Mr. Barker recommends they now be signed by the Chair
of the Weld County Housing Authority Board. Commissioner Geile moved to
approve said agreement and authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by
Commissioner Kirkmeyer, the motion carried unanimously.
CONSIDER SUBORDINATION AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO
SIGN -BILL AND DONNE HONEBEIN:Commissioner Geile moved to approve
said agreement and authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by Commissioner
Vaad, the motion carried unanimously.
CONSIDER SUBORDINATION AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO
SIGN - YRINEO AND GENIEVE SALAZAR: Commissioner Vaad moved to
approve said agreement and authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by
Commissioner Baxter, the motion carried unanimously.
Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to
and respectfully submitted by the Acting Clerk to the Board.
There being no further business, this meeting was adjourned at 9:10 a.m.
