Home My WebLink About960520.tiffRESOLUTION RE: APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY PERMIT FOR A HOTEL AND RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE FOR WAG'S, INC., DBA WAG'S PLACE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Wag's, Inc., dba Wag's Place, 4322 Highway 66, Longmont, Colorado 80501, presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, an application for a Change of Ownership of a Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License, for the sale of malt, vinous and spirituous liquors for consumption by the drink on the premises only, said License previously held by DBP, Inc., dba Peter Angelo's Restaurant, and WHEREAS, Section 12-47-106.5, C.R.S., which became effective July 1, 1991, allows for the issuance by the Board of County Commissioners of a temporary permit to the transferee of an existing liquor license to authorize the transferee to conduct business and sell alcoholic beverages at retail in accordance with said license, subject to compliance with certain conditions, and WHEREAS, Wag's, Inc., dba Wag's Place, has complied with all of the conditions set forth in said Section, and WHEREAS, Wag's, Inc., dba Wag's Place, has also submitted the required application fee for said temporary permit of $100.00. The required documents for the Change of Ownership have been submitted to the State Department of Revenue for its approval. Until notification has been received from the State advising whether this Change of Ownership request has been approved or disapproved, the Board hereby authorizes the continued sale of malt, vinous, and spirituous liquor at this establishment which is located at 4322 Highway 66, Longmont, Colorado 80501, under a Temporary Permit which has been approved by the Board and becomes effective April 2, 1996. This Temporary Permit allows Wag's, Inc., dba Wag's Place, to conduct business and sell malt, vinous and spirituous liquors, for consumption by the drink on the premises only, at retail at said location in accordance with the license previously held by DBP, Inc., dba Peter Angelo's Restaurant, subject to all other rules and regulations set forth by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, for a period of 120 days beginning on April 2, 1996, or until such time as the application for Change of Ownership is approved by the State of Colorado, whichever shall occur first.
