This is a duly signed petition by home owners and renters on North
25th Avenue from 1st Street North to the end of the housing project
continuing to first county crossroad.
This is a demand -on two- different subjects:
DEMAND NUMBER ONE: To have an efficient drainage system installed
in front of homes for excess rain water. To have a culvurt installed
to be located across 25th Avenue at North side of ditch on 1st Street
to that excess water can drain into main irrigation ditch just East
of 25th Avenue.
DEMAND NUMBER TWO: A speed limit protection consisting of dips
or rises across the Avenue in two or three places per block; plus
speed limit signs; and to be patrolled for the protection of our
children in this area. We have speeders driving an excessive amount
of speed and have had drag racing in this closely congested area.
Thank you, Weld County Commissioners for fast and speedy efficiency
in acting upon this petition. WE FULLY EXPECT OUR PETITION TO BE
FULFILLED BY OCTOBER 1, 1964.
