SUBJECT: Approval of Final Quaterly Report for Housing Prese tion rant ogra
DATE: October 23, 1996
As discussed at the Housing Authority Work Session of October 21, 1996, the Weld County
Housing Authority is required to submit a Quarterly Report for the Farmers Home Housing
Preservation Grant Program, The attached final quaterly report represents all program
expenditures for the Housing Preservation Grant Program. A separate report covers
program issues.
Total expenditures through May 31, 1996 were $90,000. Of this total amount, $15,000 was
expended fro administration costs and $75,000 was spent on housing preservation contract
costs. Twelve units were rehabbed through the Housing Preservation Grant program, while
our goal was eight units. It was possible to exceed the goal due to lower than anticipated
average costs and our ability to leverage other funds.
Staff is recommending Board approval of the Final Quarterly Report for the Housing
Preservation Grant Program
