RE: APPROVE CHANGE ORDER LETTER FOR COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS BOARD
AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Change Order Letter between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, on behalf of the Community Corrections Board, and the Colorado Department of
Corrections, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said change order letter, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said change order
letter, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Change Order Letter between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Community Corrections Board, and the Colorado Department of Corrections be, and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said change order letter.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of April, A.D., 1999.

Dear Ms. Spangler,
The Division of Community Corrections has projected expenses for your contract 98CAA01052
through June 30, 1999. Based upon these projections, your contract will need to be decreased by
$15,000 to cover estimated expenses. Attached is a Change Order Letter which will accomplish
the decrease. When signed and approved by all required parties, your total amount will become
$25,000. Please sign six original copies and return to John Vidor at:

Pursuant to paragraph 1.A,3. of the contract between the Department of Corrections, Division of.
unity Corrections,and Board of Commissioners of Weld County, Division of Community
Corrections hereby notifies you that the maximum amount payable from the State forJSP
Services and per diem shown in Paragraph 1.A I under Contract Routing Number 98CAA01052
covering the period July 1. 1998 throu¢h June 30, 1999, is hereby decreased by$15.000 to a new
total of$25,000. The rates remain unchanged.
Paragraph I.A.2 of Contact 98CAA01052 shall now read: "$25,000
This amendment to the contract is intended to be effective May 1. 1999,but in no event shall this
amendment be deemed valid until it shall have been approved by the State Controller or his
designee,
