RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF DAVE BECKER TO WELD COUNTY BOARD OF
RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Weld County Board of Retirement, and
WHEREAS, through an employee election, it has been recommended that Dave Becker
be appointed to said Board of Retirement as employee representative, to replace Al Arriessecq,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Dave Becker to said board, with
his term to expire July 31, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Dave Becker be, and hereby is appointed to the Weld County
Board of Retirement as employee representative, with his term to expire July 31, 2001.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 25th day of August, A.D., 1997, nunc pro tunc August 8, 1997.
