RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY LOCAL EMERGENCY PLANNING
COMMITTEE (LEPC)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the following persons be appointed as the Local
Emergency Planning Committee for 1996:
Dale K. Hall Weld County Commissioner
Dr. Pat Sullivan Colorado House of Representatives
Gary Myers Colorado State Patrol
Randy Carleton Weld County Sheriffs Office - Operations
Margie Martinez Weld County Sheriffs Office - PIO
Richard Clark Weld County Chiefs of Police Association
Ed Herring Weld County Office of Emergency Management
Darrel Schneider Weld County Fire Chiefs Association
Gary McCabe Weld County Ambulance Service
Trevor Jiricek Weld County Health Department
Dave Becker Weld County Public Works Department
Ron Broda Weld County Weed and Pest Control
Lorna Prutzman North Colorado Medical Center

WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint the above named individuals to the
Weld County Local Emergency Planning Committee for 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the above named individuals be, and hereby are, appointed as the Weld
County Local Emergency Planning Committee for 1996.

Dear Commissioners:
Each year the Colorado Emergency Planning Commission (CEPC) requests that each
Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) review and update its list of members
and forward that list to the CEPC. The Committee Members are appointed by the
Local Commissioners and then promulgated by the CEPC. The persons requesting to
be on the Weld County LEPC for 1996 are as follows:
