RE: APPROVE SERVICE ENHANCEMENT REQUEST FOR MICROCOMPUTER
NETWORK SUPPORT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN -SCT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Service Enhancement Request for
Microcomputer Network Support between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and Systems and Computer Technology,
Inc., (SCT) commencing February 1, 1999, and ending December 31, 1999, with further terms
and conditions being as stated in said service enhancement request, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said service
enhancement request, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Service Enhancement Request for Microcomputer Network Support
between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, and Systems and Computer Technology, Inc. (SCT), be, and
hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said service enhancement request.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 7th day of December, A.D., 1998.

Service Enhancement Request
Name of Client: Weld County
Date of Request: November 16, 1998
Related Agreement: Onsite Services and Software License Agreement between
Client and Systems and Computer Technology, Inc., dated
November 1993.
Project: Microcomputer/Network Support—Renewal of SER001
All terms defined in the Agreement and its amendments shall have the same meaning
ascribed to them therein when used in this Service Enhancement Request. Pursuant to
Section 2.2 of the Agreement, Client hereby requests that SCT perform the Supplemental
Services described below. The parties acknowledge that any Supplemental Services to be
performed pursuant to this Service Enhancement Request shall be performed under the
terms and conditions of the Agreement. In addition, unless otherwise set forth below, any
payments to be made by Client to SCT under this Agreement shall be made pursuant to
the terms and conditions of the Agreement. The amounts to be paid by Client to SCT
under this Service Enhancement Request shall be in addition to any other amounts which
Client is obligated to pay SCT under the Agreement.
Description of Supplemental Services:
The services to be provided under this Service Enhancement Request are specified below.
A. Time Frame
Projected Start Date for Services: February 1, 1999
Project End Date for Services: December 31, 1999.
Services
The national average for support of workstations is 125 per technician. We are
currently supporting over 700 workstations with 4 technicians. This Service
Enhancement Request provides for the continued funding of an additional
technician that will assist in providing microcomputer support for Weld County.
We will continue to provide an additional FTE to assist with responding to trouble
calls, annual PC replacements, and other requests for service from the existing in-
scope departments as defined in the main contract.
C. Payment
The additional amount to be paid by the Client to SCT under this Service

Service Enhancement Request
Enhancement Request is $46,585.00. SCT will submit an invoice to Client on a
monthly basis beginning in February, 1999, with eleven equal payments of
$4,235.00 to be paid throughout the duration of the Service Enhancement
Request .
Service Enhancement Request Authorization
Your signature on this Letter of Agreement is required to authorize these additional
services and their associated costs.
