RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 18, 1968, at 11:00
A. M. , in the chambers of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
at Greeley, Colorado, for the purpose of hearing the petition of Robert B.
Swanson, 603 South Lincoln, Loveland, Colorado, requesting a change of zone
from "H" High Density District, to "M -H" Mobile Home District, and
WHEREAS, the petitioner was present, and
WHEREAS, there was some opposition'to the change of zone, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all the testimony
and statements from those present, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the recom-
mendations of the Weld County Planning Commission as submitted August 7,
1968, and having been fully informed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, that the petition of Robert B. Swanson, 603 South Lincoln,
Loveland, Colorado, for change of zone from "H" High Density District, to
"M -H" Mobile Home District, said area being more particularly described as
follows:
The South Half (Si) of Lots Five (5) and Six (6) of the Southwest
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SW4SW4) of Section Nine (9),
Township Five (5) North, Range Sixty-five (65) West of the Sixth
Principal Meridian, Weld County, Colorado, containing 5 acres,
more or less,
is hereby granted under the conditions following:
1. Any water and sanitation facilities to be installed shall be approved
by the State Health Department.
2. All applicable subdivision regulations, zoning regulations and mobile
home and mobile home park regulations shall be followed and complied with to
the satisfaction of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado.
3. Subject to the approval of the Greeley Planning Commission of the
City of Greeley, Colorado.

6. Recommendation to County Planning Commission on Westlake
Subdivision
Cliff Brock, representing the owner, explained that since the Com-
mission had recommended against the zoning for business, they had
tried to decide upon their most favorable use of the land. He
explained that they were considering the construction of multi-
family dwellings. These dwellings would cover an area of 18 acres
with 26 units per acre.
,It was the opinion of the Commission that a professional consult-
) ant should be employed to study the best use of the land.
. County Planning Commission requested approval on First Avenue
and 20th Street for Mobile Home Park
Lefty Bartels represented the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Swanson, who
were also present. Mr. and Mrs. Swanson have purchased five acres
of land, with an option on another five acres, which they wish to
develop into a Mobile Home Park.
It was the opinion of the Commission that this property would be
undesirable for industry because of the school, and also undesir-
able for one -family homes because of the livestock yard. County
Planning Commission had approved the rezoning.
The motion was made by Williams, seconded by Rhodes, to concur
with the County Planning Commission on MH•zoning as desired by the
Swansons.
Chairman called for a vote and declared the motion carried. Bartels
abstained because of the County Planning Commission's action pre-
viously.
Chairman adjourned the meeting.
