WHEREAS, a
at 3:30 P.M. in
County Services
public hearing was held on Monday, April 4, 1966,
the office of the Weld County Planning Commission,
Building, Greeley, Colorado, pursuant to legal notice
pertaining to a petition for change of zone as requested by Celeste
Rumney; and
WHEREAS, a number of persons were present who favored the change
of zone; and,
WHEREAS, it was determined that the land use was a logical
expansion of the already existing use for a salvage yard; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the adjacent salvage yard agrees to keep
the channel of the river
WHEREAS, Tom Roach,
prospective buyer of the
clear of car bodies; and
owner of Riverside Salvage Yard is the
Rumney property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that subject to the owner of
the Riverside Salvage Yard, who is the prospective buyer of the
Rumney property, removing and keeping removed from the area of the
Platte River all car bodies which may create a hazard to the road
bridge down channel; the County Planning Commission does hereby
recommend to the Board of County Commissioners that the petition for
change of zone by Celeste Rumney be approved.
