RE: ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDS FROM COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION,
DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT, FOR HUMAN SERVICES
TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board approved, by Resolution dated September 11, 1995, an Agreement
between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Division of Human Services, and
the Colorado Department of Transportation, Division of Transportation Development, with terms
and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, more specific wording is needed to complete the contract process as follows:
The Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado,
desires to accept the funds and meet the conditions of the
agreement, and commits to provide the local share of 30 percent or
$2,164.00.
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to accept the conditions of said
agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the terms and conditions of the Agreement between the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf
of the Weld County Division of Human Services, and the Colorado Department of Transportation,
Division of Transportation Development, be, and hereby are, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board hereby accepts the funds and conditions of
said agreement, and hereby commits to provide the local share of 30 percent or $2,164.00.

Resolution Approving Contract with Department of

The Weld County Department of Human Services Transportation Program has
recieved a contract with the State Department of Transportation for funds
to purchase vehicle radios. The original grant application was approved
by the Board.
The federal share is 70% or $5,050. The local share is 30% or $2,164.
A resolution signed by the Board of Commissioners stating that the County
desires to accept the funds, desires to meet the conditions of the
agreement, and commits to providing the local share stated above is needed
to complete the contract process.
