RE: CERTIFY ADEQUATE FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO CONTINUE THE JOINT FUNDING
OF THE GREELEY/WELD COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley and County of Weld are participants and members of the
Greeley/Weld County Airport Authority ("Authority"), and
WHEREAS, the Authority has obtained approximately ten acres adjacent to the airport for
use by the Colorado Air National Guard, and
WHEREAS, the use of the property by the Colorado Air National Guard will provide
approximately 140 additional jobs to the community, and
WHEREAS, the Authority has obtained a loan from the Greeley/Weld Economic
Development Action Partnership ("Partnership") for purchase of said property, and
WHEREAS, EDAP requires that the City of Greeley and County of Weld certify, as
participants of the Authority, they have adequate available resources to fund the operations of the
Authority, including repayment costs to the Partnership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado:
1. The County of Weld hereby certifies that it has sufficient financial resources to fund
the Authority for its operations, including but not limited to, the repayment by the
Authority of a certain loan granted by the Partnership for the purchase of ten acres
of land adjacent to the airport.
2. This certification is continuing and will not be cancelled, changed or modified by the
County of Weld without first giving thirty days written notice to the Authority before
said change.
3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 20th day of September, A.D., 1995.
