RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER GEORGE BAXTER AS MEMBER
AND COMMISSIONER CONSTANCE HARBERT AS ALTERNATE TO WELD
COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner George Baxter be appointed
to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the Weld County Criminal Justice
Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Constance Harbert be
appointed as alternate on said committee, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner George Baxter as
member and Commissioner Constance Harbert as alternate to said committee, with their terms
to expire December 31, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Commissioners George Baxter and Constance Harbert be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Weld County Criminal Justice Committee, with their terms to
expire December 31, 1997.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of June, A.D., 1997.
