RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY FAIR
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jim Heird be reappointed to said board with
his term to expire October 31, 2001; that Terry Maxwell be appointed to said board to replace
Bobbi Leinweber with his term to expire October 31, 1999; that Diane Carlson be appointed to
replace Todd Thomas with her term to expire October 31, 2000; and that Lisa Klett replace
Sandee Legino, Randie Lanning replace Jim Welch, Larry Lind replace Linda Orlovski, Keith
Park replace Tom Bledsoe, and Sonny Schneider replace Jim Gabel with their terms to expire
October 31, 2001, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint and appoint said individuals to
said board, with their terms to expire as above stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Jim Heird be reappointed to said board with his term to expire October
31, 2001; that Terry Maxwell be appointed to said board to replace Bobbi Leinweber with his
term to expire October 31, 1999; that Diane Carlson be appointed to replace Todd Thomas with
her term to expire October 31, 2000; and that Lisa Klett replace Sandee Legino, Randie Lanning
replace Jim Welch, Larry Lind replace Linda Orlovski, Keith Park replace Tom Bledsoe, and
Sonny Schneider replace Jim Gabel with their terms to expire October 31, 2001
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of October, A.D., 1998.
