GRANTING CHANGE OF ZONE
MEAD AREA:
WHEREAS, the Weld County Planning Commission has presented a recommenda-
tion to the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado for the granting
of a requested change of zone in the Mead area, more particularly described as
follows to wit:

1. The N 1/2 NW 1/4 SW 1/4 of Section 30, Township
3 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., generally
located south of U. S. Highway No. 66 east of the
Boulder County Line, from an "A" Agricultural
District, to a "T" Transitional District.
2. The W 1/2 NW 1/4 of Section 30, Township 3 North, Range
68 West of the 6th P.M.; the S 1/2 N 1/2 SW 1/4 of
Section 30, Township 3 North, Range 68 West of the
6th P.M.; the S 1/2 SW 1/4 of Section 30, Township
3 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M.; the N 1/2
N 1/2 NW 1/4 of Section 31, Township 3 North,
Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., generally located
south of the U.S. Highway No. 66 east of the Boulder
County Line, from an "A" Agricultural District to "E"
Estate District.
3. As an addition to rezoning "E" Estate District as described
in No. 2 above, all of Section 30, Township 3 North, Range
68 West of the 6th P.M., will be rezoned from "A" Agricul-
tural District to "E" Estate District
and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners believes it to be in the best
interests of the County to uphold said recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, does and hereby unanimously agrees to uphold the recommenda-
tion of the Weld County Planning Commission by granting tie change of zone in the
Mead area as heretofore set forth.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote:

NOTICE

County, Colorado, the approval of a request for rezoning described below:

A public hearing will be held in the office of the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Courthouse, Greeley, Colorado on Monday, June 17, 1963 at 2:00 P.M.

Gentlemen:
At a Public Hearing of the Weld County Planning Commission held on Monday, May 6,
1963, in the office of the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado,
the following motion was made:
John Watson moved that pursuant to the Zoning Laws of the State of Colo-
rado, the Weld County Planning Commission recommends and certifies to the Board
of County Commissioners the approval of a request for rezoning described below:
1.
The N 1/2 NW 1/4 SW 1/4 of Section 30, T3N, R68W of the 6th P.M.,
generally located south of U. S. Highway No. 66 east of the Boul-
der County line, from an "A" Agricultural District, to a "T"
Transitional District.
2. The W 1/2 NW 1 4 of Section 30 T3N R68W of the 6th P.M.;
the S 1/2 N 1/2 SW 1/4 of Section 30 T3N R68 West of the 6th P.M.;
the S 1/2 SW 1 4 of Section 30, T3N, R68W of the 6th P.M.;
the N 1/2 N 1/2 NW 1/4 of Section 31 T3N R68W of the 6th P.M.,
generally located south of the U.S. Highway No. 66 east of the
Boulder County Line, from an "A" Agricultural District to "E"
Estate District.
3. As an addition to rezoning "E" Estate District as described in No. 2
above, all of Section 30 T3N R68W of the 6th P.M. will be rezoned
from "A" Agricultural to "E" Estate District.
The motion was seconded by Price Hopkins and was unanimously carried.

Reasons for Recommendation:
1. Adjacent on the east there is a residential subdivision at the present
time.
2. There was no opposition to the rezoning of said area.
