Thank you for your letter addressing attaching a cellular antennae to an existing 340',tower. After staffs
review,it has been determined that the addition will not constitute a major change to the existing use if the
height of the tower is not increased. However, additional changes in the future may warrant further
review.

Dear Mr. Schuett:
I recently submitted a wireless communication site for an administrative
approval. This is located on the existing radio tower owned by GPA
enterprises at 11981 Weld County Road 54, Greely. In that submittal
indicated that the height of the existing radio tower was 360 feet. This is in
error. It was based on a ground estimate made by one of cur engineers and
was never confirmed. Koll's real-estate coordinator for this protect has
subsequently spoken with GPA and confirmed that the height is 340 feet.
Please make this correction in your record of this application.

Dear Mr. Schuett: RECE
Koll Telecommunication Services, on behalf of our client Western Wireless PCS III,is requesting
administrative approval from the Department of Planning Services for the construction and use of an
unmanned wireless communication facility. The proposed facility will be at an existing 360' radio tower
located at 11981 Weld County Rd. 54, Greely, and owned by GPA Enterprises. Nine small panel antennas
will be mounted on the tower structure,as shown on the enclosed elevation,and cable runs will also be
attached. Additionally, small equipment cabinets,noted as `BTS Cabinets' on the elevation,will be placed
at the site on a concrete foundation. Western Wireless PCS III has signed a lease with GPA Enterprises for
this purpose.
Given the minimal visual impacts,the small scale of this addition in comparison to the existing structure,
the compatibility of the proposed use with the current use,and the lack of traffic impacts because of the
unmanned nature of this facility I am hopeful you will agree that this project should receive an
administrative review or,possibly,go straight to building permits. Koll/Westem Wireless PCS III will
apply for all required building permits. Also,under the terms of our FCC license, we may not interfere
with radio or television reception.
