RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW#1220 FOR A
MINERAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT FACILITY (CONCRETE BATCH PLANT)
ZONED A (AGRICULTURAL) IN A MUD (MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT) AREA -
FRANCISCO AND MACLOVIO MARTINEZ
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Site Specific Development Plan and
Use by Special Review Permit#1220 for a Mineral Resource Development Facility (concrete
batch plant) zoned A (Agricultural) in a MUD (Mixed Use Development) area for Francisco and
Maclovio Martinez, P.O. Box 334, Firestone, Colorado 80520, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 30th day of June, 1999, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter for to allow Francisco and
Maclovio Martinez adequate time to meet with Siegrist Construction Company, surrounding
property owner, to negotiate an agreement regarding the temporary use of the site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
July 14, 1999, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 30th day of June, A.D., 1999.
