Dear Ms. Gartrell:
I received a copy of your letter that was sent to the Weld County Planning Commission and copied to
Commissioner Glen Vaad.
The Department of Planning Services received a concern regarding some of the properties located in Southgate
Mobile Home Subdivision. Lot 6, Block 3, was listed as a property where items constituting a noncommercial
junkyard were located. The violation was issued after a site inspection was conducted that determined
miscellaneous debris, derelict vehicles and old appliances were located on the property. To bring the property
into compliance, the noncommercial junkyard would need to be removed from the property or adequately
screened (six foot wooden fencing) from view of adjacent properties and road rights-of-way.
I have attached copies of documents on file at the Weld County Clerk and Recorders Office, for your review. If
you do not own the listed parcels of land, I would recommend that you contact both the County Assessor's Office
and the Clerk and Recorder's Office.

Dear Sir:
I received a letter of zoning violations to my address, but that isn't to hard to prove that it is not
me. That pretains to L6, B3 and I live on L2, B1.
There is a bigger problem that exists somewhere. Evidently two places have the same address.
That would explain some of the times the police and others come to my house. My house is
located on Block 2, Block 1 and it is taxed as a house not a mobile home. Lot 2 is on Southgate
Avenue. My back yard is L6,B1 and it is on the back side of the house and it would probably be
it would have a Mountain Avenue . Since the house is on Lot 2 it only faces Southgate Avenue,it
should have a Southgate address. I have the original numbers that were placed on these houses
when they were originally numbered.
I have lived in the Southgate Subdivision since 1964.There is another 20076 that was originally
number to be on Ashway not Southgate. I have a feeling because of things that has happened
that is also has been given the Southgate Avenue address. That house is at the corner of
Southgate Avenue and Ashway which is north of me. If it were given the Southgate address it
shouldn't be 20076 because that doesn't correspond with the addresses across the street. The
Lots number 20089 and 20099 are north of me. My daughter lives on the west side of Southgate,
directly across from the other house that has 20076 address on the house. Her number is 20111
Southgate and that is further north of me.
This is a problem because if I used 911 I am not sure which house they would come to. I thinK
this matter should be cleared up as quickly as possible.
