TO REZONE PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SEI) OF SECTION 36,
TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 67 WEST:
WHEREAS, the Weld County Planning Commission has recommended
that part of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of Section 36, Township 1
North, Range 67 West: Beginning 30 feet North of the Southeast
corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE4), thence West 600 feet, thence
North 176 feet, thence East 600 feet, thence South 176 feet to the
point of beginning: an area South of Fort Lupton, in Weld County,
Colorado, be rezoned from "A" Agricultural Zone to "C" Commercial
Zone, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, believes it to be to the best interests of Weld County to
rezone the above area.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. that the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, authorize the Weld County
Planning Commissioner to rezone that part of the Southeast Quarter
(SE4) of Section 36, Township 1 North, Range 67 West beginning 30
feet North of the Southeast corner of the Southeast quarter (SEa)
thence West 600 feet, thence North 176 feet, thence East 600', thence
South 176 feet to the point of beginning, an area South of Fort Lupton,
to be rezoned from "A" Agricultural Zone to "C" Commercial Zone.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote'

PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE
COUNTY OF WELD
TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS:
On the 28th day of May, 1962, at 2:00 P. M. in the office of
the Board of County Commissioners, Court House, Greeley, Col-
orado, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld
will hold a public hearing concerning the change of Zone of an
area South of Fort Lupton, in Weld County, Colorado, from "A"
Agricultural Zone to "C" Commercial Zone.
The area for change of zone is more particularly described as
follows:
Part of the Southeast Quarter (SE -.D of Section 36, Township 1
North, Range 67 West; Beginning 30 feet North of the South-
east corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE4), thence West 600
feet, thence North 176 feet, thence East 600 feet, thence South
176 feet to the point of beginning.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
WELD COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
TIME: 2:00 P. M.
DATE: May 7, 1962
PLACE: County Commissioners' Office
Weld County Court House
Greeley, Colorado
A public hearing is hereby scheduled by the Weld County Planning Commission at the
time and place stated above to consider amending the text of the Weld County Zoning
resolution. All persons interested in the suggested amendments are invited to at-
tend this hearing in order to be heard and to aid the County Planning Commission in
preparing their recommendation for the Board of County Commissioners. The particu-
lar amendments under consideration are as follows:
Amend Section 1, Paragraph 1.1 Establishment of Districts
by the addition of the following:
"0 - Open District"
Amend Section III, Paragraph 3.10 Uses Permitted in the "I", Industrial Districts
to read as follows:
"(1)
(2)
(3)
(4)
All uses specifically listed in the "A", Agricultural District;
All uses specifically listed in the "B", Business District,
except use numbered (I);
All uses specifically listed in the "C", Commercial District;
All industrial or manufacturing operations except that the
following operations shall only be permitted upon approval
of the Board of County Commissioners:
(A) Junk Yards and salvage yards;
(B) Sanitary land fill and dumping operations
(C) Slaughter houses and packing houses."
Amend Section III, by adding a new Paragraph 3.14 to read as follows:
"3.14 Restrictions in the "0", Open District

All uses permitted in the "A", Agricultural District shall be per-
mitted in the "0", Open District, except that 3.3 (3) 'cattle
feeding and the raising of fowl, rabbits, hogs and other animals
for commercial use' shall not be limited in any manner in the "0",
Open District.
There shall be no limitations regarding Setback, Lot Area, Lot
Width, Side Yards, Rear Yards or Height of Buildings in'the "0",
Open District."
