Special Review Questionnaire.
1.Explain, in detail,the proposed use of the property?
This is a small livestock operation. We raise cattle, sheep and horses. An existing
arena is used by family and friends for rodeo and gymkhana practice. As a hobby, we host
a small kids afternoon rodeo 15 times a year in the existing arena.
2.Explain how this proposal is consistent with the intent of the Weld County
Comprehensive Plan?
All activities on the property are agricultural and consistent with the Weld County
Comprehensive Plan.
3. Explain how this proposal is consistent with the intent of the Weld County Zoning
Ordinance and the zone district in which it is located?
All activities are consistent with rural/agricultural zoning.
4. What type of uses surround the site?Explain how the proposed use is consistent and
compatible with surrounding land uses?
All surrounding properties are rural residential or agricultural operations.
5. Describe,in detail, the following:
a. How many people will use this site?
50-75 people attend the Saturday afternoon event.
b. How many employees are proposed to be employed at this site?
No employees
c. What are the hours of operation?
2-5p.m., Saturdays, May 2nd through August 29th, 15 total.

A maximum of 20 pickups with horse trailers and 20 passenger cars are
present on event days.
g. Who will provide fire protection to the site?
Galeton Volunteer Fire Department provides fire protection.
h. What is the water source on the property? ( Both domestic and irrigation)?
Water source is domestic well ( 1 ) and agricultural well ( 1 ).
I. What is the sewage disposal system on the property (Existing and proposed)?
Septic sewage system for residence; portable sewage system on site for
event days.
j. If storage or warehousing is proposed, what type of items will be stored?
There is no storage or warehousing.
6. Explain the proposed landscaping for the site. The landscaping shall be separately
submitted as a landscape plan map as part of the application submittal.
No landscaping is proposed.

No reclamation procedures will be required.
