Commissioner Reed offered the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did appoint Dr.
Robert T. Porter a member of the Board of Health of Weld County,
Colorado, for a term of five years, ending May 23, 1961, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Com—
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Dr. Robert T. Porter be and
he is hereby reappointed a member of the Board of Health of Weld
County, Colorado, for a period of five years, ending May 23, 1966.
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Shultz and adopted
by the following vote:

I would like to bring to your attention that Dr. Robert T. Porter's term
on the Board of Health expired May 23rd. I am sure that I express the
feelings of the Board and myself in asking that the County Commissioners
reappoint Dr. Porter for another 5 year term.
The Board of Health Has requested that I call to your attention that
Mr. Dersham was appointed for a 5 year term to fill the vacancy caused
by the resignation of Mr. Counter. Mr. Counter's term was to end in
May of 1962. It was felt by the board and myself that possibly Mr.
Dersham should have been appointed for the remainder of Mr. Counter's
term and then reappointed for a 5 year term in May 1962; otherwise
this willmake two vacancies occur during the same year.
