THIS INDENTURE, made this 20th day of September, A.D. 1967,
between M.A. BUTLER, the lessor, and WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, the
lessee,
WITNESSETH, that in consideration of the payment of the rent and
the keeping and performance of the covenants and agreements by the
said lessee hereinafter set forth, the said lessor hereby leases
unto the said lessee the following described premises, situate
in the County of Weld, State of Colorado, to -wit:
The four room house and adjoining yard and messuage
as now fenced, being a tract 300 feet square, more
or less, known as the labor house or bunk house
located on the South Half (Si-) of Section Twenty-
two (22), in Township Eleven (11) North, Range
Sixty (60) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same and the appurtenances unto the
said lessee from twelve o'clock noon of the 20th day of September,
A.D. 1967, until twelve o'clock noon of the 20th day of.
September, 1972, at and for a rental, for the full term aforesaid,
of $1,250.00, which rental shall be paid in installments as
follows:
250.00, being the full rental for the first year of
said term, upon the signing hereof, and $250.00 on or before
the 20th day of September of each year thereafter during the
full term of this lease.
LESSEE SHALL have the privilege of erecting a maintenance
building on said plot, or adjacent thereto, for use by lessee
for equipment and machinery and shall have the right at the
expiration of this lease to remove said building.
LESSOR AGREES to carry comprehensive insurance insuring said
premises against damage by hail or fire, which, in the event of
damage, shall be payable to said parties as their interest shall
appear.
LESSEE AGREES to keep all said buildings, fixtures and
equipment in good repair and to pay for any damages caused to

said premises and equipment by its occupant or tenants at its
own expense, ordinary wear and tear or loss by fire excepted.
LESSEE FURTHER AGREES to pay for any and all utilities
actually used by Lessee.
IT IS UNDERSTOOD and agreed by and between the parties that
said premises
are being leased by said lessee as quarters for its
road maintenance man or
or persons
men and shall be occupied by any person
so employed at the election of said lessee and that
such person or persons shall have continuous and uninterrupted
right of access to said property and to make such roads, fills
or crossings as shall be deemed necessary for the purposes of
its use.
THIS AGREEMENT shall be binding upon the heirs, administrators
and assigns of said lessor.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have hereunto set
their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
