Weld County Commissioners
We were informed that the commissioners have solicited the town of
Firestone to annex W.C.R. 22 up to 1-25. During the meeting with Planning
and Zoning (Monica Daniel) at the Rinner Church, the community was told
the MUD was set up to develop quality growth in the area. This growth
was to be controlled by Weld County to prevent the annexation by Fredrick
and Firestone. Once these small towns annex the quality is diminished.
We ask that the commissioners continue to control the MUD as originally
intended to preserve the quality of development.
