The plans in the file as well as the legal description are quite vague. However, the County Commissioners' resolution granting the expansion states that the area involved con- tains ten acres more or less. BURMAN LORENSON COUNTY PLANNER PHONE 1303, 353.2212 EXT. 21. 28 AND 29 I have also enclosed an air photo to help you locate the area included in the approved expan- sion. The area.I have marked with colored pencil looks like what is included on the larger plan. You should determine what area the lots presently cover, and whether Mr. Harmon feels that he already has approval from the County for further expansion. Call me if you have any questions. S' cere1y GE/dc stman, P any ner'— Dec. 6, 1972 Colorado Alfalfa Products Co. Milliken, Colorado ATTENTION: Mr. Harmon It is the decision of the Milliken Planning Commission to refuse to support your plans for expansion of the feedlots west of Milliken until the board is presented with a satisfactory plan to reduce the amount of odor emitted from the expanded feedlot to a level below that emitted from the present feedlot. The flood plain and the river are beautiful and valued assets of the community. We question the wisdom of locating a feedlot of any size on the flood plain and especially near the river where seepage from the feedlot may pollute the river.
