M,, running North on section line to the Lincoln Highway cr state Road No. 24, Township 4 North, Range 61 West cf the 6th Principal Meridian, the last named point being the terminus thereof,and the road as above laid out and viewed being over the mese practicable note whirl: we, in our judg- ment,eau find. We found it necessary to make the following changes in the proposed route as prayed for,viz.:We the viewers herein recommend that the road petitioned for be granted from the South termirns thereof northward on the section line to the South bank cr right of way of the - ire Ditch. The balance cf road prayed for we recommend be net granted on account of the enormous expanse cr building a forty foot bridge over the Bijou Ditch and a sixty foot bridge over the Empire Canal. • We have caused to lie surveyed and platted.and have herein embodied a plat of said road as viewed by wt.nml which forms a part of this report as shown by the following map: Wally iYo ---- /lmrgeh5. (4) corrected notices relating to the oponing of the road that you recently petitioned for. The notices that were mailed to you a few days ago were incorrect as to the doscriDtion of the road as granted by the Comrnissionor U. Aeeorcling to the action of the Board as shown of record, that part of • the road petitioned for =bonding from the south end to the Empire Intake Ditch was granted, the balance from that point on was not granted for the reason that the expenoo of building tho two bridges over the Empire Ditch and the Bijou Canal was greater than the Board felt justified in assuming at this time. They ostimated the cost of the two bridges at not less than 04,000.00, including whatever work might be necessary for the development of the road. The Board con- sidered the m?tter carefully and I feel surd that they acted in accordance with their best judgment.
