RE: APPROVE ELECTION BY ACCLAMATION OF COMMISSIONER DALE HALL AS
TEMPORARY CHAIR FOR AUGUST 5, 1996, BOARD MEETING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Chair Barbara Kirkmeyer and Chair Pro-Tem George Baxter will both be
absent from the regularly scheduled Board meeting on August 5, 1996, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to elect by acclamation Commissioner Dale
Hall as Temporary Chair for the August 5, 1996, Board meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Commissioner Dale Hall be, and hereby is, elected by acclamation
as Temporary Chair for the August 5, 1996, Board meeting.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 31st day of July, A.D., 1996.
