We the Directors would like to have the Briggsdale area motor grader and operator to be allowed to clear the snow away from our Fire Station's two(2) exit doors and our access to Milton St. Our past procedures for this task have taken as long as 2 to 3 hours to do the removal with our small blading equipment supplied by our volunteers. We feel that the blading could be done within ten to twenty minutes by the County motor grader and its operator. We do provide emergency fire and health care to our district of 400 square miles. We are very proud of our volunteers' emergency fire responses and our health care procedures and experiences. Without a more expedient snow removal system, it is very probable that our emergency response equipment cannot exit our station in adequate time to provide our services.
