RE: APPROVE REPLACEMENT OF POSITION ON WELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL
SERVICES COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the representative of the Platte Valley Fire District has been deleted as a
member of the Weld County Emergency Services Council by Amendment II to the Weld County
Emergency Medical Services Council Bylaws, which was approved by the Board of County
Commissioners' Resolution dated October 11, 1995, and
WHEREAS, the position held by Ted Hoffman from the Platte Valley Fire District has,
therefore, been deleted, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ed Herring, Director of the Weld County Office
of Emergency Management, or his designee, be appointed to said council to fill the membership
position, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Ed Herring, Director of the Weld
County Office of Emergency Management, or his designee, to fill the membership position on the
Weld County Emergency Medical Services Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Ed Herring, Director of the Weld County Office of Emergency Management,
or his designee, be, and hereby is, appointed to fill the membership position on the Weld County
Emergency Medical Services Council.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 11th day of October, A.D., 1995.
