Easement and right of way (ROW)
Easement and right of way (ROW) have been granted to HS
Resource, an Oklahoma company, by Christ Community Church of
Roggen, mineral owner, through a standard oil and gas lease,
plus other agreements . The ROW is mentioned in "Easements and
Surface Agreement " dated March 10, 1994, and "Pipeline Right of
Way Grant" dated May 4, 1994. The documents tell of a ROW grant,
as depicted on Figure 1 attached . See also attachments 1, 2, and
3 .
At this time SE/4 SW/4 of Section 17 is the only area
affected. No PCR building is projected for this area. It is
unknown at this time if any oil well drilling will ever take
place in NE/4 NW/4 of Section 20

Dear Ms. Easton:
I have been asked by Ellen Korthuis of the Preston Ranch Ministries
board of directors to send you a letter regarding Alpine Child
Placement Agency concerning the relationship it has with Preston.
Enclosed is a brochure which briefly describes the Agency. At this
time we have a number of children in placement in different foster
homes in Metropolitan Denver and Brush, Colorado. Based on the
years of experience I have in this field, and in talking with
various social service workers around the state, I can state
emphatically that there is a great need for the facilities Preston
is considering. In my opinion, the site for the ranch near Roggen
and in your county is ideal.
Alpine Child Placement Agency will be establishing and supervising
all aspects of the specialized group center at Preston Ranch
Ministries. I am looking forward to working with them and Weld
County as this project is developed.
