RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO WELD COUNTY
PLACEMENT ALTERNATIVES COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Placement Alternatives
Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that William Crabbe and Gaye Smith be appointed
to said commission to replace Dan Dailey and Patricia Whitcomb, respectively, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Charlie Dalpra and Manuel Acosta be
reappointed to said commission, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint William Crabbe as the mental health
representative and Gaye Smith as the CDSI representative, with their terms to expire
December 31, 1997, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Charlie Dalpra as the Human
Services representative and Manuel Acosta as the lay community representative, with their terms
to expire December 31, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that William Crabbe and Gaye Smith be, and hereby are, appointed to the Weld
County Placement Alternatives Commission as the mental health and CDSI representative,
respectively, with their terms to expire December 31, 1997.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Charlie Dalpra and Manuel Acosta be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Weld County Placement Alternatives Commission, as the Human
Services and lay community representatives, respectively, with their terms to expire December 31,
1997.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 6th day of March, A.D., 1995.
