WITH EXTENSION SERVICE, COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY:
WHEREAS, the Extension Service of Colorado State University has presented
this Board with an agreement or working budget for the year commencing January 1, 1963,
to December 31, 1963, inclusive; and
WHEREAS, the Board is desirous of entering into the agreement as submitted
by said Extension Service.
NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, Weld
County, Colorado, that the Chairman of the Board be and he is hereby authorized to sign
Agreement with the Extension Service of Colorado State University, according to the
terms and conditions set forth in said agreement, a copy of which is hereto attached
and made a part of this resolution.
The above and foregoing resoiution,was, on motion duly d seconded,
adopted by the following vote:

AGREEMENT FOR COOPERATIVE EXTENSION WORK
This AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 31st day of October
l962_ by and between the County of fti1J , hereinafter known as party
of the first part, and Colorado State University Extension Service and the United
States Department of Agriculture, hereinafter known as parties of the second part,
WITNESSETH:
For and in consideration of the mutual convenants and agreements, hereafter
mentioned, the parties of the second part, agree to conduct and carry educational
programs in agriculture and home economics in said county, with men, women and
youth who wish to avail themselves of such service. The programs will be conducted
in such manner as to encourage the application of improved practices in agriculture,
home economics and other similar pursuits.
It is agreed that the work herein mentioned is to be conducted under the
state project agreement between the Extension Service of Colorado State University
and the United States Department of Agriculture covering Cooperative Extension
Work in, agriculture and home economics in Colorado, and that the parties of the
second part will organize and supervise this program within the county in accord-
ance with the basic objectives of the statewide program as modified to meet the
needs of the local areas.
The organization shall consist of such personnel as may be mutually agreed
upon between the Board of County Commissioners and the Extension Service. For
the purpose of this agreement, the organization shall consist of the following
positions:

Party of the first part hereby agrees to provide $ 43,i$0.00
for the period of this agreement. Party of the first part further agrees to
furnish suitable office space with heat, light and essential office and other
equipment.
Party of the second part hereby agrees to provide $ 43.710•00
for the period of this agreement, and further agrees to furnish supervision and the
services of technically trained staff specialists.
This agreement shall be effective for the period J M I I , 19
to Onember 31 , 19 , and may be changed, altered, modified or
amended in whole or part by written mutual consent of the parties hereto.
This agreement may be terminated by either party upon ninety (90) days
written notice to the other party.
