RE: HEARING TO SHOW CAUSE FOR VACATION OF CHANGE OF ZONE #466 FOR A
PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT - PASQUALE VARRA
A public hearing was conducted on February 17, 1999, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Dale K. Hall, Chair
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner M. J. Geile
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Planning Department representative, Scott Ballstadt
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated February 3, 1999, a Show Cause hearing was
conducted to consider vacation of Change of Zone #466 for a Planned Unit Development for
Pasquale Varra. Bruce Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record and stated Mr. Varra
has not submitted the Planned Unit Development Final Plan within the required three-years, nor
has he filed for an extension. Mr. Barker explained the current owner of the property is Pasquale
Varra, who did not receive proper notification of this proceedings; therefore, a corrected notice has
been published and sent to surrounding property owners.
Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to continue the Show Cause Hearing to consider vacation of
Change of Zone #466 for a Planned Unit Development for Pasquale Varra to March 8, 1999,
at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Vaad, and it carried unanimously.
