Box 69 Greeley, CO 80632-0069 RE: Change in EMT -B Physician Advisor Dear Weld County Fire Depts/Districts and EMS Council: When I assumed the duties of Weld County EMT -B Physician Advisor in October of 1995, I told you that I would be the EMT -B Physician Advisor until I died or left the emergency medicine physician group. Well, I have accepted a full-time administrative position at North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC) in Greeley and have resigned my full-time position with North Colorado Emergency Physicians. Though I will be working an occasional shift in the Emergency Department at NCMC, I will no longer be able to fulfill the duties of EMT -B physician advisor for Weld County. Effective January 1, 1997, Dr. Jim Campain will be assuming the role of Weld County EMT -B Physician Advisor. Dr. Campain is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician and has been with North Colorado Emergency Physicians since July of 1993. He has a keen interest in EMS issues and is currently the Physician Advisor for Weld County Ambulance Service. His philosophy concerning EMS issues is similar to my own so the transition to a new physician advisor should be very smooth. I have truly enjoyed meeting and working with all of you over the last year. I will miss the daily contact with the EMS/Pre-hospital personnel that have that very important first contact with patients. Please welcome Dr. Campain to his new role as Weld County Physician Advisor effective January 1, 1997. Sincerely, Caro`I S[ Vanetti, M.D. F.A.C.E.P.
