RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER GEORGE E. BAXTER TO THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR NORTH COLORADO MEDICAL CENTER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner George E. Baxter be
appointed to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the Board of Trustees for North
Colorado Medical Center as an ex-officio member, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner George E. Baxter
to said board, with his term to expire December 31, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Commissioner George E. Baxter be, and hereby is, appointed to
the Board of Trustees for North Colorado Medical Center as an ex-officio member, with his term
to expire December 31, 1998.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of January, A.D., 1998, nunc pro tunc January 1, 1998.
