SIGN QUIT CLAIM DEED
REVERTING GRAVEL EASEMENT:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that it shall and does hereby sign a Quit Claim Deed reverting to the
present owner or owners all right, title, claim and interest in and to an
easement removing all gravel, sand, roadmaking and building material, acquired
by instrument dated August 9, 1930, recorded August 22, 1930 in Book 899 at
page 321 of the Weld County Records; said easement more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Northeast Quarter of Section 23,
Township 5 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P. M. in Weld County,
Colorado, said point being 300 feet east of the Southeast corner
of the cement house standing on the North half of Section 23,
Township 5 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P. M., in Weld County,
Colorado; thence in a Southeasterly direction 435.6 feet parallel
to the bluff; thence in an easterly direction 100 feet to said
bluff; thence in a Northerly direction following the contour of
the bluff 435.6 feet; thence in a Westerly direction 100 feet
to the point of beginning together with the right of ingress and
egress along the edge of the bluff in a Northwesterly direction out
past the existing buildings to the highway on the section line
between Sections 22 and 23.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

THIS QUIT CLAIM DEED Made by the COUNTY OF WELD, and STATE OF
COLORADO, acting through the Board of County Commissioners of the County
of Weld, State of Colorado, GRANTOR, and the Present Owner or Owners of
the lands lying on both sides of the hereinafter described property, Grantee,
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, under date of August 9, 1930, Bruce A. Smith and Nellie V. Smith
did convey to the County of Weld, State of Colorado:
Beginning at a point in the Northeast Quarter of Section twenty-
three (23), Township Five (5) North of Range Sixty -Four (64)
West of the 6th. P. M. in Weld County, Colorado, said point
being three hundred (300) feet East of the Southeast corner of
the cement block house standing on the North Half of Section
twenty-three (23) Township Five (5) North of Range (64) West
of the Sixth P. M. in Weld County, Colorado; thence in a
Southeasterly direction 435. 6 feet parallel to the bluff; thence
in an easterly direction one hundred feet to said bluff; thence
in a Northerly direction following the contour of the bluff 435. 6
feet; thence in a Westerly direction one hundred feet to the point
of beginning together with the right of ingress and egress along
the edge of the bluff in a Northwesterly direction out past the
existing buildings to the highway on the section line between
sections twenty-two and twenty-three. ,
which deed was recorded August 22, 1930 in Book 899, Page 321, of the Office of
the County Clerk and Recorder; Weld County, Colorado, and,
WHEREAS, said parcel of land was conveyed for gravel excavation purposes
and same has long since been disused and Weld County has not been operating a
gravel pit in said location, and,
WHEREAS, there is no public need for said property to be held by Weld
County.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, Grantor does hereby
sell and quitclaim to Grantee all of Grantor's right, title, claim, interest and
demand in and to the parcel of land heretofore conveyed to Grantor and recorded
in Book 899, Page 321, Weld County Records, with all its appurtenances.
